"It wasn’t perfect, but we got the three points this time," Priske said, praising his players for demonstrating the right mentality in a tough match.
He acknowledged the quality of the opponent, noting Girona's well-organized structure and strong coaching. Despite some "ugly" moments in the game, Priske commended his team's determination to push through.
This win comes at a crucial time for Priske, following a difficult start to the season and a heavy 0-4 defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.
